Green Seasoning for Everyday Cooking

green spices

This green seasoning is a mixture of different spices that helps me season different meals.

To avoid mixing spices every time I cook, I make this seasoning and store it in the fridge. This seasoning is ready to use when you need it, therefore saving me not only time but also making my cooking easier.

One day, I visited one of my relatives and I watched her cooking fried spinach. I was so surprised that she used only onion, hot pepper, and lots of stock cubes to season her dish. When she finished cooking, we ate together. I struggled to finish my serving because the only thing I could taste in that food was cubes. And I was always shocked to see this cooking habit by several people around me. My question is, why do we need to use these unhealthy cubes when God has blessed us with so many natural spices? Here, I want to share with you one of my seasoning mixtures.

Here below are some recipes where I use this green seasoning:

  1. Coconut Fried Rice with Chicken and vegetables
  2. African Peanut Stew
  3. Sauteed Vegetables and Chicken
